My Story
I had toyed with the idea of joining Scentsy for a few months, but let fear keep me from moving forward. In November of 2018, they released a join kit that had a diffuser in it! I had always wanted a diffuser, but wasn't sure if I should invest that kind of money in a product that I hadn't ever used before. I thought, well, this is the perfect time to make my move - why not join and get the diffuser that I have been wanting, then when I fail, at least I'll still have my diffuser.
You heard me right - I said WHEN I fail. Before I even hit that join button, I had already made up my mind that I was going to fail miserably at this. I told myself that I am not the type of person that is successful at this sort of thing. Boy was I wrong.
As the months went by, I found myself getting more comfortable in what I was doing. I mean, we all know Scentsy has the best products so it was easy to share my enthusiasm as the seasons changed and the new scents and products were released. It took me nearly a year in before I realized that Scentsy had become more than just a hobby, I was actually earning a consistent paycheck out of this deal and enjoying every minute of it!
If Scentsy has taught me anything, it is that I am so much more than I give myself credit for. The amount of confidence, strength and creativity that have grown within me is better than anything I could have imagined. And to think - I thought I was just getting a diffuser out of the deal!
